A pastor is a minister or person ordained by God to shepherd over a church or a congregation of believers. Our pastors just like the family plays a pivotal role in the life of his members capable of affecting destinies.

Prayers
Praying for your pastor is very important. Pastors need prayers constantly. Pray for them and with them! They face a lot of temptations and adverse difficulties. Managing members is not the easiest thing to do. Pray that grace may abound! 1 Timothy 3:12. He will be encouraged by your prayer.

2. Improve his library
Pastors need to constantly study. Help him by gifting him quality spiritual books. Do not forget to gift him special Bibles that will help his research and sermon. Take note if your pastor’s Bible is too old and help him replace it.
3. Share testimonies with him
Tell your pastor how your life is changing under his leadership. The new depths you’ve discovered in God, the miracles from God. Trust me, this will be extremely valued.

Most pastors especially full-time do not have a constant flow of finances. Out of the abundance God has given to you, reach out to your pastor. You can do this anonymously too. Remember, your pastor has needs to meet and God can use you as a channel. It’s a sure way to get blessed.
5. Respect them
The Bible teaches us to respect authorities God has placed above us. Be sure to respect your pastor even while we abide under God’s instructions
But we request of you, brethren, that you appreciate those who diligently labor among you, and have charge over you in the Lord and give you instruction, and that you esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Live in peace with one another. 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13
